Research
Creating live generative visuals to complement the haunting sounds of HowlRound, while ensuring seamless performance on a 22m LED screen at Alte Münze in Berlin.

Design
Simple geometries animated with basic movements disrupted the flat screen’s perspective, while fluid abstract shapes added dynamic energy to the show. This contrast created a visually compelling experience, enhancing depth and motion.

Development
The entire project was executed on-site as an improvised AV jam, with visuals created in TouchDesigner and mapped onto the LED wall via MadMapper using NDI. This setup ensured a stable output with no dropped frames, maintaining smooth and reliable performance throughout.

Concept
In collaboration with HowlRound, a UK-based musician known for using analog feedback techniques to craft haunting soundscapes.
"Tape Noise" was a one-of-a-kind live performance that combined generative visuals and sound, ensuring it could never be replicated.
